Staffed by veterans of the benefits and pharmacy industries, our firm specializes in advocacy services for consultants on behalf of employers, employees and their covered dependents. With our guidance and specialized expertise, clients maximize the value of their pharmacy benefits, enjoying a significant increase in services and cost savings.

As a proven pharmacy partner, RxBenefits provides all pharmacy benefit manager (PBM) administrative services, ensures contract criteria and performance guarantees are met or exceed requirements, and produces quantitative results on the value of the offerings. Bryan Statham, Chief Executive Officer, RxBenefits

Bryan Statham / Chief Executive Officer

Bryan joined RxBenefits in 2005 to lead business development, drawing upon a successful career in the healthcare and pharmacy benefits industry. His resume includes operational roles at companies such as Complete Health and UnitedHealthCare, where he directed high-level sales and account management teams. His exceptional leadership has produced high performance sales teams across all commercial market segments, including small business, middle market, large group, public sector and government programs.

Cynthia Johnson, Chief Executive Officer, RxBenefits

Cynthia Johnson / Chief Client Officer

Cynthia has been involved in all aspects of the managed care business during her 30-year healthcare career. She has directed sales and account management teams in small, mid-sized and large accounts through the Southeast. In 2007, she joined RxBenefits as Vice President of Account Management and became a managing partner in 2008. Her responsibilities include sales and account management of prescription drug programs, telemedicine physician services and wellness plans. In total, Cynthia supervises accounts generating more than $500 million in annual drug spending.

Robert Gamble, Chief Financial Officer, RxBenefits

Robert Gamble / Chief Financial Officer

Robert joined RxBenefits in 2016 as Chief Financial Officer, and brings over 13 years of experience in executive roles at growing healthcare companies. Robert’s experience includes 8 years at HospiScript Services as CFO and President, where he played a critical role in a high-growth pharmacy benefits management business with significant earnings growth and shareholder value creation during his tenure. Robert has also led other private equity backed healthcare companies as CEO of a multi-site healthcare provider and as CFO of a leading medical informatics business. Robert’s depth of experience across multiple growth platforms in Finance, IT, and Operations as well as Sales brings a unique set of skills to the RxBenefits team. Robert holds a B.A. in Economics from Vanderbilt University and earned his M.B.A. from The Darden School at the University of Virginia.

Michael J. Romanzo, Chief Strategic Officer, RxBenefits

Michael J. Romanzo, R.Ph. / Chief Strategy Officer

Trained as a pharmacist, Mike brings decades of experience to his role at RxBenefits. Innovative and results-driven, his resume includes P&L management, sales, client management and operations for such companies as CVS, Eckerd Corporation, Affiliated Computer Services, Inc., and most recently, Medco Health Services, Inc. At Medco, Mike served in a variety of senior leadership roles, culminating in his position as president of Medco’s Systemed Group, a $5.7 billion division focused on small and mid-sized employers staffed by over 200 employees.

John Walter Parker, Vice President, Business Development, RxBenefits

John Walter Parker / Senior Vice President, Business Development

John Walter’s career has been focused on the healthcare arena, beginning in 1992 in the HMO and medical carrier space. His extensive experience ranges from operating a successful employee benefits consulting firm to leading and directing national business development teams. In his role at RxBenefits, John Walter’s responsibilities include operational functions, as well as leveraging his expertise in the PBM procurement and contracting process to assist consultants and their clients across the country. He joined RxBenefits in 2009.

Mark Campbell, Vice President, Account Management, RxBenefits

Mark Campbell / Vice President, Clinical Solutions

Mark is an experienced healthcare executive with focus in all aspects of the pharmacy benefit management industry. He began his vast, 22-year pharmacy career with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from University of Tennessee and a pharmacy residency at the Veteran’s Administration of Memphis. From there, Mark went on to hold numerous positions such as Director of Pharmacy, Vice-President of Prescription Solutions, and President. He joined the RxBenefits team in 2017 where he will serve as Vice President of Clinical Solutions, bringing expertise in PBM sales, operations, and clinical program development.

Amy Goss, Vice President, Operations, RxBenefits

Amy Goss / Vice President, Operations

Amy joined RxBenefits in April 2016 as Director of Process Improvement, and was promoted to Vice President of Operations shortly after. She brings over 20 years of experience at growing healthcare and life insurance companies. Amy’s experience includes 10 years at UnitedHealthcare, where she lead Sales Operations, acted as the Pharmacy lead for the Gulf States, and implemented provider portals across the United States. Amy has also led the Human Resource Operation at a large life insurance company where she was responsible for Corporate Employee Benefits, Wellness Programs, and the HR/Payroll technology. Amy holds a B.A. in Business from University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Kimberly Grebe, Vice President, Account Management, RxBenefits

Kimberley Grebe / Vice President, Account Management

Kim has over two decades of account management experience, with the last 14 years spent in the PBM industry. She has proven success in building strategic partnerships, client integration, implementing cost saving plan design options and overall account maintenance. In her last position at Medco/ExpressScripts, she worked with small and mid-market clients and four of the major consulting firms. Kimberley has a master’s in business administration.

Nathan Holman, Vice President, Information Technology, RxBenefits

Nathan joined the RxBenefits team in 2017, bringing more than 20 years of operational IT experience. His resume includes 15 years in senior leadership across the healthcare, manufacturing, and financial sectors in rapidly growing emerging companies and billion dollar entities as well as vast experience running sales and operations organizations. Nathan is a Cum Laude graduate from Reinhardt University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.

Nathan White, Vice President, Hospital and Strategic, RxBenefits

Nathan White / Vice President, Hospital and Strategic Markets

Nathan joined RxBenefits in 2017 as the Vice President of Hospital and Strategic Markets. Nathan provides expert leadership and oversight to our team in order to service the unique needs of both hospital and healthcare clients. With more than 18 years of experience, holding positions in both CVS Health and OptumRx, his background in new business development, client retention and medication compliance and safety, is an asset to both RxBenefits and our partners. Nathan holds a B.S. in Health Services Administration from State University of New York at Fredonia.

Mark D. Taber, Managing Partner (Great Hill Partners) & RxBenefits Board of Directors

Mark D. Taber / Managing Partner (Great Hill Partners) & RxBenefits Board of Directors

Mark serves on the RxBenefits Board of Directors and is responsible for transaction origination, investment policy, fundraising, investor relations and the general management of Great Hill Partners. His investment experience covers a broad group of industries, including health care, financial technology, telecommunications, software and business services. Mark graduated from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, where he was an F.C. Austin Scholar and a Jim Packard Memorial Scholar. He also holds a degree in public policy studies from Duke University.

Rafael Cofiño, Partner (Great Hill Partners) & RxBenefits Board of Directors

Rafael is a board member for RxBenefits as well as a partner at Great Hill Partners where he is responsible for originating and evaluating investment opportunities in the internet, software, health care, and business and consumer services sectors. Prior to joining Great Hill Partners, Rafael was a principal at Battery Ventures, where he was involved in investments in the internet, software and business services sectors. Prior to Battery, Rafael spent a number of years with Technology Crossover Ventures, Goldman Sachs and RBC Capital Markets. He earned a degree in finance from The University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Craig K. Byrnes, CFA, VP (Great Hill Partners) & RxBenefits Board of Directors

Craig K. Byrnes, CFA / VP (Great Hill Partners) & RxBenefits Board of Directors

Craig is a member of the RxBenefits Board of Directors and is responsible for originating and evaluating investments in the internet, software, healthcare and technology services sectors at Great Hill Partners. His experience also includes executing transactions, derivative trading, and working with existing portfolio companies in the technology and business services sectors. Craig earned a degree in economics and psychology from Duke University and an MBA with Distinction from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern. He is also a CFA charterholder.

T. Ulrich Brechbühl, RxBenefits Adviser

T. Ulrich Brechbühl / RxBenefits Adviser

Ulrich joined the RxBenefits Board of Directors in 2016. A former Army officer, early in his business career, Ulrich served as a consultant and manager with Bain and Company, Inc. Over the last twenty years, he has founded several businesses and served as the CFO, COO, CEO and/or Board Chairman for a number of rapid growth, middle-market healthcare and technology companies, all of which were publicly traded or private equity owned. Ulrich has led teams that experienced numerous successful recapitalizations and strategic sales. He graduated with highest distinction from West Point with a bachelor’s degree in engineering, and he earned an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Michael Thompson, RxBenefits Adviser

Michael Thompson / RxBenefits Adviser

Michael serves on the RxBenefits Board of Directors and specializes in strategic differentiation, go-to-market expansion, new growth vectors, new market entry, portfolio management, M&A, and other growth initiatives. He spent 16 years at Nuance Communications, a $2 Billion voice recognition software company. As Executive Vice President & General Manager, Michael built the Nuance Mobile Division from inception to approximately $400 M in revenue, 25% operating income, and over 1,500 employees. He graduated from Cal Poly in Mechanical Engineering and earned an MBA from Cornell University.
