Make kindness the norm! It doesn’t take much to do something nice for some and make a difference in our world. Do something, big or small for someone or your community, tell us what you did, and send us a picture. Below we list a few ideas to help you get started.

  • Mow the lawn for your neighbor
  • Bake cookies for the elderly
  • Run a 5k/10K for a good cause
  • Serve at a homeless shelter or any local charity
  • Pay for someone’s meal
  • Bring a meal to someone who is sick, or just had a baby
  • Donate blood

Challenge 9

Are you creative? Then this challenge is for you! Through art we express our strongest feelings, whether is through music, dance, poetry, painting, drawing, etc. Art is, by definition, one of the most diverse creative outlets. In your own artistic way, express what diversity means to you. Submit your “work of art”. There is a special prize for all who participate in this challenge and a grand prize for the winner. All will be highlighted on the pulse. All submissions should be positively related to culture and/or diversity and must be “work appropriate”.
