Month of October Challenge
Art is, by definition, one of the most diverse creative outlets in itself. In your own artistic way, express what diversity means to you.; whether it be through drawing, painting, sculpting, writing, spoken word, song, or dance. Submit your “work of art” by clicking the “stamp my passport” link below, by October 27th. All submissions should be positively related to culture and/or diversity and must be “work appropriate”.
Challenges
Members of the DCIC sit down with each other and navigate conversations that might seem taboo. Listen to these conversations and stamp your passport by sending us your perspective on the topics discussed.
Sit down with your family and/or friends and watch a movie/series about racism or life in a different culture and have a discussion afterwards. Grab a quick photo to share and/or let us know what movie/series you watched and discussed!
Complete the Diversity Trivia/Quiz found on the Pulse. (to be released during “Learn the Difference” week)
Challenges
Get out in the community and lend a helping hand, or TWO! OR do something nice for someone that doesn’t look like you. Take plenty of pictures and shoot them over to DCIC@rxbenefits.com.
Reach out to a co-worker you don’t know on a Teams video chat and learn about their heritage and culture. Share your interaction with a screenshot!
Visit a restaurant or cook a dish of a new cuisine from another culture that you haven’t tried before. Document your adventure with a quick photo!
