Part of the prestigious New Year’s Day lineup, the Outback Bowl is one of the most popular postseason college games in the country, featuring top teams from the highly successful SEC and Big Ten conferences. Over its history, it has brought more than a million out of market visitors to the Tampa Bay region while distributing $150 million to universities and more than $1.5 million to non-profit charities.

The 2020 Outback Bowl will kick off at 1:00 P.M. on January 1, 2020 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, FL following a week of traditions and celebrations leading up to the main event.

Among the festivities are:

  • 12: DeBartolo Contract Signing Party, the traditional welcoming of the head coaches to Tampa Bay
  • 27: Players Hospital Visit, an opportunity for players and coaches to bring cheer to children at Tampa General Hospital
  • 29: Team Night at the Tampa Bay Lightning hockey game, featuring players from both teams participating in a friendly competition on the ice between periods
  • 30: RxBenefits Gridiron Gala, a prestigious holiday event that gathers coaches, players, sponsors, school representatives, and dedicated bowl supporters
  • 31: New Year’s Eve Parade, a festive celebration featuring floats, marching bands, and a battle of the bands pep rally

We will also be awarding a few lucky clients from the local communities of each college team with all-expense-paid trips to the Outback Bowl game.
